Standpipe Installation

• The standpipes require minimum assembly with no special tools.
  
  
• Excavate the ground to a suitable depth, place the lower part of the standpipe over the water pipe, making sure it is at the correct height and level, fill the back with concrete.
  
  
• Calculate the length of the incoming water pipe needed to enter the connection at the bottom of the standpipe and then position over the lower part that has been concreted in the ground.
  
  
• Carefully lower the standpipe into position, making sure the water pipe is fully inserted into the connection. Fasten the standpipe together with the bolts provided.
  
  
• The drop down door on the front comes complete with a cam lock and 2 keys as standard.
  
  
• The tap box accommodates your own padlock.
  
  
• (Note: please ensure that the correct backflow arrangements are adequate for your particular installation)
  
  

Each Standpipe version comes complete with the following:-

• 1 x 1/2” Bib Tap
• 1 x BS6282 Double Check Valve
• 1 x Drain off Valve
• 1 x Stop Tap
• 1 x 20mm MDPE Water Connector
